A Day In The Life

There is great emphasis on participating in sport in our school. We have a Soccer team, a Gaelic team, a Hurling team and an Athletics team. Mr. Doherty and Mr. Bergin manage the Soccer team; Mr. Desmond manages the Hurling team; Mr. Fitzgerald manages the Gaelic team and Mr. Bregazzi manages the Athletics team. We compete in lots of school competitions and even though we are often successful we always emphasise fair play, taking part and having fun.

Nearly every day we have a chance to play football in the field or basketball in the yard. Skipping has also become really popular at break. In 5th and 6th class we get the chance to do adventure sports such as kayaking and a gorge walk. We also go on adventure sports school tours.
