The Choir

The choir is a great activity. In our school .There are a lot of boys in the choir, We sing a variety of songs, and our school choir takes part in a lot of activities. Every Christmas we take part in the Hallelujah concert in the point depot. We attend the concert every year. Also we sing at communions and confirmation, two very special events. We also have a Christmas concert and end of year concert. We have a graduation at the end of the year where we say goodbye to the sixth class students. It is a very emotional event.At the end of the year all the boys who attend the choir are treated to a day out in the leisure plex in Tallaght It is a very fun day.

The choir would not be the same in fact without the three choir teachers which are Mr. Malone, Ms. Healy and Ms. Desmond we would not have a choir without them. Mr. Malone encourages us to show and develop our talents. Ms. Healy and Ms. Desmond are great choreographers and help us learn all of the moves to our songs. We have a lot of things to thank the teachers for because they are all great.

I love the choir it's my favourite activity in the school. It brings boys from second to sixth close together. I feel great starting class after choir and I know that it puts a smile on the faces of all the people who hear us singing in the morning.
