ShoeBox Appeal |
This year the pupils of the school brought in 160 boxes for third-world countries fo the shoe-box appeal.
We got a certificate for our work. This will make 160 children in the third-world happy this Christmas.
Every year we seem to be getting more and more shoe boxes for the appeal. Hopefully we will get even more next year.

Food Appeal for ALONE |
On Tuesday 11th of December we started to collect food for the food appeal for ALONE.
A.L.O.N.E. stands for " a little offering never ends". A lot of people brought
in food. On Tuesday 18th of December the food was collected. Hopefully people on the
streets and elderly people will have a very happy Christmas. ALONE was founded by a man
named Willie Birmingham. He was a fireman in Dublin who saw an old man dead in a house
so he set up the organisation called ALONE.

No Uniform Day |
Earlier in the year we had a no-uniform day in aid of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children,
Crumlin. In total we raised €650. This will make some children very happy.
We do this annually and the hospital is very happy with it. I, myself, am in and out
of the hospital regularly as I get very bad ear infections. When I had to have an
operation earlier in the year, it was done very efficiently. €2 may not seem a lot
but when everyone contritutes it really makes a difference.
