On Friday 12th of October St. Joseph's G.A.A. football team wen to Moyle Park College for a community blitz. St. Joseph's had to play some great schools like Gaeil Scoil Na Camoige, Gaeil Scoil Cluain Dolcain, Shruleen, Neilstown and Clonburris. St. Joseph's played six games and won five so we had a great day. The team we played in the final was Clonburris, who had beaten us earlier in the day. We came out fighting and won the match by a point. Gary Quinlivan lifted the cup for St. Joseph's and he also won player of the tournament. Hopefully we will win the cup again in the next Round Towers Community Blitz.
