Christmas time in Joeys was truly magical, with our school buzzing with excitement and festive cheer throughout December. The celebrations began with the official turning on of our beautiful school lights at the front of the school, an occasion enjoyed by pupils, staff and families alike. The atmosphere was made even more special with wonderful music from our school band and choir, along with a fantastic special performance from Kyle Barr, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
The festive spirit continued with our much-anticipated Christmas concerts. Every class took to the stage and showcased their hard work through songs, music and performances, creating memorable evenings for families and friends and highlighting the confidence and talent of our pupils.
Beyond the concerts, there was no shortage of festive fun. Santa paid a very welcome visit to the school, Christmas Bingo brought plenty of excitement, and classrooms were alive with creativity through Christmas arts and crafts activities.
A huge thank you must go to our wider school community for their incredible support of our bumper Christmas raffle, which raised almost €3,000 for the school. Congratulations to all of our lucky winners. It was a wonderful end to the year and a true celebration of the spirit of Joeys.
